The 2025 edition of Bad Kissinger Lichterglanz ran from November 28th to December 26th, with a festive opening on Friday, November 28th at 5:30 PM on the market square stage. The entire market square and the old town shone in the glow of thousands of lights; mulled wine, bratwurst, gingerbread, and Franconian arts and crafts attracted locals and spa guests to the historic city center.

Lichterglanz 2025 – Advent Magic in Lower Franconia

The Bad Kissinger Lichterglanz 2025 began on Friday, November 28th, with the traditional opening ceremony at 5:30 PM. The Bad Kissingen Youth Music Corps played on the market square, and the Rose Queen with her angels and St. Nicholas, along with Mayor Dr. Dirk Vogel, welcomed the first guests.

2025 Program

Market stalls offered mulled wine, bratwurst, gingerbread, roasted almonds, and Franconian specialties. Wood stoves warmed the standing tables, the Old Town Hall featured tarte flambée and wood-fired bread, and a children's carousel spun for the youngest visitors. Guests could experience the market until December 26th, with reduced opening hours on Christmas Eve and the Christmas holidays.
