Overview

The 2025 Sommerfrische continued the tradition maintained for over three decades: a curated series of concerts and cabaret in the Kursaal and Postsaal, an art exhibition in the Haus des Gastes, and the popular summer festival in the Kurpark. The format, with eight to ten events over three summer months, proves year after year to be an attractive combination of regional cultural enjoyment and the tranquil atmosphere of a Kneipp spa town.

Like in previous years, the 2025 Sommerfrische attracted a mixed audience of spa guests, locals from the Allgäu region, and day-trippers. The venues were the Kursaal in the Haus des Gastes, the Postsaal, and the Kurpark. The program spanned folk, blues, classical crossover, and cabaret – combined with readings and the traditional summer art exhibition.

The Sommerfrische remains the flagship event of Bad Grönenbach: accessible, with manageable hall sizes, and a program quality that regularly draws on the reputation of Bavarian stages.
