Overview

As is traditional, the Bad Birnbach Autumn Market 2025 took place on the first Sunday in October from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Neue Marktplatz. Around 50 direct marketers, farm shops, and artisans from the Rottal-Inn district offered regional specialties from Wagyu to honey to fine brandies, plus baskets, spices, and household goods. The Sunday shopping (11:30 AM–4:30 PM) of the Bad Birnbach town center shops completed the offer.

Bad Birnbach Autumn Market 2025

In 2025, the Autumn Market also took place on the first weekend of October. With mild autumn weather, the market attracted numerous visitors from the Rottal, Vilstal, and neighboring Austria. The combination of a traditional market day and the spa town's tourist infrastructure proved successful again: many guests combined their visit with a stay at the Rottal Therme.

Assortment and Atmosphere

The established assortment from direct marketers was fully represented again – from the Wagyu manufactory and the apiary to the basket weaving workshop. The Sunday shopping livened up the entire town center. Thus, the Bad Birnbach Autumn Market 2025 reinforced its reputation as one of the largest and most popular market Sundays in southern Lower Bavaria.
