Overview
In 2025, the Vorstadtverein Nürnberg-Laufamholz also organized its two annual bakehouse festivals at Seeweiherweg. In early summer and autumn, around 185 wood-fired loaves were produced per festival day, along with liver sausage, Obatzda, and in autumn, onion cake with Federweißer. As every year, schools and kindergartens from Laufamholz found a platform for their cake sale.
In 2025, the Backofenfest once again stood for living neighbourhood tradition. In early summer and autumn, the Vorstadtverein Nürnberg-Laufamholz opened its wood-fired bakehouse on Seeweiherweg, organized by the volunteer team led by Elke Graf. The three classic baking cycles produced around 185 loaves of bread; as usual, supplies were exhausted by late afternoon. The charitable component – cake sales for kindergartens and schools – was also supported by strong participation from local families in 2025.
