Overview

On October 26, 2025, the 38th Backnang Goose Market took place. From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, market stalls, exhibitors, and Backnang shops filled the city center. The open Sunday attracted thousands of visitors to the pedestrian zone around the Goose Fountain, accompanied by live music, a children's program, and autumnal culinary delights.

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the market as Backnang's autumn highlight. Over 80 specialty shops, craftspeople, and market vendors exhibited their products. The Backnang city center was closed to car traffic from 1 PM to 6 PM. Action stages at the market square, in the Stiftshof, and along the market street provided live music, while local gastronomy served goose dishes, Maultaschen, and Federweißer.

The painted wooden geese at the shop entrances and the Goose Fountain remained popular photo opportunities. For children, there were carousels, face-painting booths, and hands-on activities from local associations.
