Overview

In 2025, the Augsburger Herbstplärrer once again attracted over half a million visitors to the Plärrer grounds at Kleiner Exerzierplatz. Festival tents from Binswanger and Schaller, high-tech rides, nostalgic carousels, and showmen filled the 17 days of Bavaria-Swabia's largest folk festival, organized by SSV Schausteller GmbH in cooperation with the Augsburg City Market Office.

2025 Season in Review

The 2025 Herbstplärrer featured around 85 showmen and restaurateurs on the Plärrer grounds as usual. The festival tents of the Binswanger and Schaller breweries offered live music daily, ranging from Bavarian brass band music to festival tent rock. Family and Seniors' Days with discounted rates on rides were also part of the program.

As in previous years, the 2025 Herbstplärrer concluded with a grand closing fireworks display, reaffirming its position as Bavaria's second-largest folk festival (after the Munich Oktoberfest) and the largest folk festival in Swabia.
