Overview

In 2025, the Auerer Kirwa took place traditionally on the Friday after the Feast of the Assumption – from August 22nd to 25th. Four festival days with brass music, a market, and programs for seniors and families in the Frauenau festival tent.

The Auerer Kirwa 2025 followed the established four-day festival schedule with brass music on Friday, an afternoon for seniors and a vintage car rally on Saturday, a market and musical evening program on Sunday, and a family program and club visits on Monday.

The festival in Frauenau remained a firm meeting point in 2025 for the people of the region between Zwiesel, Bodenmais, and Spiegelau. The consortium of TSV, Heimatverein, and TC Frauenau organized the festival operations and ensured the preservation of the tradition maintained since 1767.
