Overview

In 2025, the Auer Jakobidult again took place as the second of Munich's three annual Dulten on Mariahilfplatz in Munich-Au. Around 250 stalls, historic rides including the 1925 Ferris wheel, Family Day on Tuesdays, and a diverse culinary offering made this traditional market a popular attraction for Munich residents and city guests once more.

Jakobidult 2025

The Auer Jakobidult 2025 opened as usual at the end of July on Mariahilfplatz in Munich's Au district. Around 250 stalls selling porcelain and ceramics, antiques, basketware, household goods, traditional attire accessories, and spices were spread across the festival grounds. Historic rides such as the 1925 Ferris wheel, dodgems, and chain flyers complemented the market. Bavarian delicacies, especially Schupfnudeln from the large pan and Steckerlfisch, characterized the culinary offerings. Every Tuesday was Family Day with reduced prices on amusement rides. The organizer, as always, was the Department of Labor and Economy of the City of Munich.
