Overview

The 51st Attler Herbstfest 2025 took place, as every year, in mid-September on the festival grounds of Stiftung Attl near Wasserburg am Inn. Four days of folk festival with beer tapping, brass music, festival tent, children's program, and theatre. Over 15,000 visitors with and without disabilities participated in the festival — Bavaria's largest inclusion festival.

The 51st edition in 2025 continued the established tradition of the Attler Herbstfest. As in previous years, the festival was characterized by its deliberate inclusion: Residents of the foundation helped shape program items, served in the festival tent, and assisted at the children's stations. External guests — families from the Rosenheim district, tour groups from Munich and Salzburg — attended in large numbers.

The concept of the festival as an open inclusion festival has proven successful over decades — the mix of people with and without disabilities, not commonly found at most other Bavarian folk festivals, gives the event a unique character and makes it a regionally recognized occasion. Preparations for the 52nd edition in 2026 under patron Sepp Schauer began immediately after the conclusion of the 2025 event.
