Overview

The Astheimer Kartäuser-Weinfest 2025 took place on June 27th and 28th in the courtyard of the Kartause Mariaebrück. The Festgemeinschaft Astheim, comprising the male choir, wine and fruit growing association, DJK Astheim, and fire brigade, invited guests for two evenings with Mainschleife wines, Franconian delicacies, and singing performances. Despite the changeable weather, the historic courtyard filled up on both evenings.

The 2025 edition took place as usual over two evenings in the courtyard of the Kartause Mariaebrück. The opening was at 6:00 PM each day, and the wine service continued into the late evening hours. Wines from the Astheimer Karthäuser site were the focus, complemented by products from Mainschleife vintners.

Association Work

As every year, the festival relied on the voluntary work of the four member associations of the Festgemeinschaft Astheim. The proceeds went to support the associations' activities – a model that has been successful in the Lower Franconian Mainschleife for generations and is an important pillar of village cohesion.
