Overview
The 13th edition of the asphalt Festival 2025 brought international stage art to Düsseldorf. Theatre, dance, performance, chamber music, and visual arts at six venues across the city — an established address for contemporary performance art in NRW.
The 2025 edition followed the established concept: approx. 28 productions, approx. 70 performances, six venues, guests from over ten countries. The polycentric model has become established over the years and makes the asphalt Festival one of the most important international stage festivals in Central Europe's summer program.
