In 2025, Schrobenhausen also celebrated the season opening with the Asparagus and Delicacies Festival on Lenbachplatz. Asparagus specialities, regional delicacies, live music, and a family programme attracted visitors from all over the Wittelsbacher Land.

The Asparagus and Delicacies Festival 2025 in Schrobenhausen followed the established festival concept: a festive opening in the morning with welcoming remarks and beer tapping, plus an asparagus-cutting competition on stage; in the afternoon, a family programme and live music until the early evening. The stalls around the town hall presented asparagus in all its variations as well as regional specialities from Schrobenhausen producers.

The town, as usual, used the festival to draw attention to the asparagus season and announce the upcoming coronation of the Asparagus Queen at the Volksfest — a format that strengthens the region's culinary identity.
