Overview

ARRABAL 2025 took place in October 2025 in Schiffbauergasse on Tiefen See. For four days, tango fans from Germany, Poland, France, and the Netherlands met at fabrik Potsdam. An opening ball with a live orchestra kicked off the festival, followed by concerts by Argentine and European ensembles, large Milongas, and workshops for every level.

As every year since 2014, fabrik Potsdam transformed its halls into a tango cosmos in October 2025. Schiffbauergasse, with its industrial brick charm, provided the backdrop – the fabrik hall served as the main stage, and the surrounding rooms housed the workshop spaces and Milongas.

The opening ball on the first evening was accompanied by an Argentine sexteto playing in the tradition of the Golden Tango Era. In the following days, concert evenings, Milongas, and workshops alternated – from a basic tango course for beginners to a deepening of musicality for experienced Tanguero:as. A choreographic stage production by the fabrik company formed the artistic highlight.
