Indie, Pop, and Electronica Festival in Bürgerpark Diepholz with 25th Anniversary Edition in 2026
Since 2001, a dedicated team has been organizing the Appletree Garden Festival in Bürgerpark Diepholz. What began as a small indie festival has become a firm fixture on the North German festival scene. The combination of manageable size, carefully curated lineup, and relaxed atmosphere makes the festival unique. 2026 marks the celebration of the 25th edition — an occasion for a particularly ambitious program.
The confirmed lineup combines international stars with up-and-coming acts. The Kassel-based indie band Giant Rooks is one of the most successful German indie bands of recent years, British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone brings fragile pop, and French electronica pioneer Sébastien Tellier delivers the lounge highlight. Swedish indie-folk classics Friska Viljor, the Belgian-German Naïka, the Berlin indie trio Blond, Hamburg rapper Disarstar, and climate activist Luisa Neubauer as a speaker round off the program.
Bürgerpark Diepholz at Lüdersbusch 2 is a spacious park area that transforms into a festival site for three days each year. Several stages, a large campsite, food areas, and chill-out zones are spread across the grounds. The capacity of around 5,000 people ensures the intimate atmosphere that characterizes the festival.
A planned break is announced for 2027 — an occasion to celebrate the 25th anniversary edition in a special way. The Early-Birthday-Bird ticket was priced at 160 Euros, including camping. Further ticket categories are available on tixforgigs.com and via the festival website.
For years, Appletree Garden has been considered one of North Germany's most beautiful small festivals. Carefully curated bookings, a charming site, and a family-like atmosphere make the festival both a hidden gem and a firmly established event.
The final running order with all bands and slots will be published by the organizer in good time on appletreegarden.de.
