Overview
The 7th edition of the Apoldaer Musiksommer 2025 took place from June 20th to 22nd on the Herressener Promenade festival meadow. Three concert evenings with artists from rock, pop, and Schlager attracted festival-goers from Weimarer Land and the wider region to the knitting town. The family-friendly open-air format once again confirmed its importance in Thuringia's summer calendar.
The 2025 edition combined a classic festival atmosphere with the intimate ambiance of the Herressener Promenade festival meadow. Bands from German-speaking countries shaped the lineup, and the Park and Heimatfest framed the concert program with gastronomic and family offerings. Apolda once again proved itself as an important festival city in Weimarer Land, alongside the nearby classical city of Weimar.
