The 3rd Apoldaer Maschenfest 2024 took place in Paulinenpark, attracting numerous visitors from the Weimarer Land region and beyond. The event featured an experience market, historical knitting machine demonstrations, fashion performances, and city tours focusing on Apolda's textile history.

As the Apoldaer Maschenfest is held only every two years, 2024 marked the last edition before the 4th edition announced for 2026. Paulinenpark transformed into an open-air stage for fabric and knitwear culture, with a market featuring numerous exhibitors from Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, and Saxony drawing in lovers of handmade textiles. City tours through former industrial quarters complemented the festival program.
