Overview

The 19th AOK-Ostsee StaffelMarathon Dierhagen 2025 took place as in previous years on the event meadow in Dierhagen. Marathon distance in relay format on the 5.22 km circuit through beach, forest, and Bodden landscape. Teams from all over Germany competed — a dress rehearsal for the 20th anniversary in 2026.

In 2025, numerous relay teams from all over Germany participated in the Ostsee StaffelMarathon. The well-established format of a circuit, transition zone, and relay handover worked flawlessly; the coastal weather was mild and autumnal — typical conditions for a late-season race on the Baltic Sea.

Over the years, the race has established itself as one of Northern Germany's most popular coastal runs. With its 19th edition, the organizing team set the course for the big anniversary in 2026, which celebrates the event's 20-year history.
