Overview

The third edition of the Ansbacher Weinfest took place from August 20 to 24, 2025, at Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Platz. Three Franconian wineries served their classic 'Schoppen' wines, and live bands played every evening on the stage at Bach-Platz. Free admission. After three years, the format has established itself as a firm fixture in Ansbach's summer program.

In 2025, the Fränkischer Weinbauverband and Zametzer & Krohn once again transformed the central Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Platz into a five-day mile of culinary delights. The Wine Queen opened the festival, regular visitors from Ansbach, Aurach, Lehrberg, and the surrounding region came for the 'Frühschoppen' (morning pint) and stayed late into the evening – an open, urban wine festival atmosphere, more typical of the wine-growing regions along the Main River.

The musical program ranged from Franconian Bavarian pop to jazz and acoustic sets. Franconian wine culture and the historic Margrave city of Ansbach proved to be a compelling combination.
