The Ziegeleipark Mildenberg — Industrial Monument as Festival Backdrop
The Ziegeleipark Mildenberg is an industrial museum and open-air experience site in northern Brandenburg (municipality of Zehdenick, district of Oberhavel). Europe's former largest brickworks — operational until 1991 — was developed into a museum park after its closure. Today, old machines, historic brick buildings, waterways, a clay park, and interactive exhibitions on brick production can be seen. In summer, the grounds become a festival stage — ANNOTOPIA uses the brick industrial backdrop for its fantasy productions.
ANNOTOPIA — Fantasy Festival with Ambition
ANNOTOPIA was conceived by noa entertainment GmbH (based in Lower Saxony) as a touring fantasy festival. The concept: not just a pure Comic-Con, not a classic medieval market, but a deliberately broad fantasy spectacle that brings together several subcultures under one roof. Cosplay competitions for Marvel, anime, and game fans; medieval camps with crafts, mead, and sword fighting; Star Wars troops like the 501st Legion; steampunk stages; Viking reenactment; dinosaur animations for children; live concerts in the evening with medieval rock, folk metal, pagan folk, and electronic fantasy music. The audience brings their costumes — the exhibitors provide materials and workshops. A festival that is not just consumed, but actively participated in.
2nd Edition in Mildenberg — Building on a Successful Premiere
The 2025 premiere in Mildenberg attracted around 4,500 visitors and established the Ziegeleipark as an ANNOTOPIA venue in Brandenburg. The 2026 edition (July 3rd-5th) builds on this success — more exhibitors, a larger artist lineup, new themed zones. The exact program overview (artists, workshops, competitions) will be published by the organizer in the weeks before the festival on annotopia.eu. Tickets are available via the festival website, Eventim, and reservix.de, starting from €7.30 (day tickets in the early bird phase).
