Anklam Hanse Festival

The 20th Anklam Hanse Festival gathered several tens of thousands of visitors from Vorpommern, Berlin, Brandenburg, and Poland from August 15 to 17, 2025, at the harbour wall on the Peene river. Over 60 programme items on three stages – on land and on water – made the weekend a maritime city festival for all generations.

The main attraction was the performance by star guest Vanessa Mai on Friday evening at 7:30 PM on the main stage. Other highlights included: DJ sets, opening ceremony with cannon shots, live bands, a boat parade with fireworks at 11 PM on Friday, the Peene swim on Saturday, harbour tours with solar boats and RIBs, an ecumenical church service on Sunday, dance performances, children's entertainment, and a big band concert. For children, there was a straw bale pool, bouncy castle, children's construction site, and an XXL fishing game, among other attractions.
