Overview

The Anime Messe Babelsberg 2025 took place in July at Filmpark Babelsberg. For three days, thousands of anime, manga, and cosplay fans from all over Germany and neighbouring countries met at the traditional film studio near Potsdam.

The Anime Messe Babelsberg 2025 continued the tradition established over years, bringing Japanese pop culture to Filmpark Babelsberg. Over 100 exhibitors presented manga, figures, merchandise, and cosplay accessories; J-Pop concerts, voice actor panels, and cosplay competitions took place on the indoor and outdoor stages.

The convention is one of the largest anime conventions in Eastern Germany and attracts visitors from all German-speaking regions as well as from Poland and the Czech Republic. The studio lot in the Babelsberg district, with its indoor and outdoor areas, provides the necessary infrastructure for a diverse programme.
