Amphitheater Open Air Trier - The BossHoss

The BossHoss have been one of the most distinctive phenomena in the German music landscape since 2004: a six-piece Berlin band that has reached an international audience with its consistent cowboy aesthetic, rich brass sections, and a mix of country, rock, and punk rock energy. Their cover versions of pop hits from the 1990s and 2000s – from „Hey Ya“ to „Word Up!“ – have become trademarks, and with their own songs like „Don't Gimme That“ or „Last Day (Hörst Du Mich)“, The BossHoss have also established themselves as songwriters.

Live, the band is considered one of the most reliable show machines in the German-speaking rock scene. In the Trier Amphitheatre, they will find a fitting stage on July 22, 2026: the oval arena of the Roman structure, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986, allows for a direct connection between stage and audience, which is ideal for the BossHoss's theatrical and energetic show.

The concert is part of the Amphitheater Open Air Trier 2026 series (July 17 to 26), which makes the ancient structure on the Petrisberg a stage again after a three-year break. The organizer is Popp Concerts, a concert promoter with a long tradition in Trier. Tickets are available through the usual pre-sale channels.

Due to its central location and limited parking capacity at the Amphitheatre, arriving by public transport is recommended. City buses run regularly from the main train station to the Amphitheater stop.
