Overview

The Amphi Festival 2025 once again brought over 40 bands from Gothic, Darkwave, and Industrial to Cologne's Tanzbrunnen. Two festival days with classics and festival premieres, a sold-out venue, and the usual Dark Scene experience on the Rhine. Autograph sessions, a festival market, and the "Call The Ship To Port" experience complemented the stage program. Preparation for the 20th anniversary in 2026.

Already in 2025, Amphi confirmed its status as one of Europe's most important Gothic festivals. With established headliners and a curated selection of newcomers, the unique setting at Tanzbrunnen Köln, and a well-established program of side events, the festival offers a complete experience for the Schwarze Szene.

The festival atmosphere at Rheinpark — black festival fashion, classic Gothic elements, the mix of German and international Dark Scene — is one of the most defining experiences of the German summer festival calendar. Especially the ticket sales logic (most coveted share of the market) now shapes the Amphi phenomenon.
