Edition 2025 — Ammerndorfer Kärwa

The Ammerndorfer Kärwa 2025 took place, as every year, in early July at the Dullikener Platz. Four days of Franconian Kirchweih tradition attracted families and guests from the Fürth district and surrounding areas to the fairground. Ammerndorfer beer from the local private brewery, the raising of the Kärwabaum, Kärwa-Madli and -Burschen, and live music in the beer tent formed the traditional core of the festival.

The 2025 edition seamlessly continued the long-standing tradition of the Ammerndorfer Kirchweih. The mayor and the Kärwaburschen kicked off on Friday with the first beer tapping, and the weekend was marked by a parade, morning pint, and beer tent atmosphere. As always, Ammerndorfer beer was the centerpiece of the beverage menu – the private brewery is one of the oldest in the region and a firm pillar of the town's identity.

Programmatically, the 2025 Kärwa remained true to its proven format: a beer tent with an orchestra, carousels, and shooting galleries at Dullikener Platz, Franconian bratwurst, Schäuferla (pork shoulder), and Kärwakrapfen (doughnuts) from the stalls. Families from Cadolzburg, Roßtal, and Großhabersdorf made day trips to Ammerndorf, while young visitors from the greater Fürth and Nuremberg area frequented the beer tent in the evenings.
