Amberger Michaeli-Dult

In 2025, the Michaeli-Dult once again attracted thousands of visitors from the city of Amberg and the districts of Amberg-Sulzbach, Schwandorf, and Neumarkt i.d.OPf. The festival tent of the Gschrey family proved to be the focal point of the festivities; the fireworks displays on Fridays were traditionally set off at 10:00 PM, painting the sky above the Upper Palatinate district town with pyrotechnic scenes.

The Sunday with open shops on the last day of the festival combined the Volksfest with a city stroll, creating a great family outing. From the Dultplatz to the historic old town, visitors enjoyed coffee, cake, and last-minute shopping before winter — a proven closing event for the Upper Palatinate festival season.
