Edition 2025 — Wein & Sonnenschein Marktbreit
The 2025 edition of »Am Tor bei Wein & Sonnenschein« in Marktbreit took place on the last weekend of May, opening the summer wine evening season at the Maintor. Winemakers from the Franconian Wine Triangle served Silvaner and Bacchus, live music accompanied the weekend against a baroque backdrop.
2025 Season Opener
The early summer 2025 edition of the wine festival at the Maintor in Marktbreit took place on May 31 and June 1, 2025. Winemakers from the Wine Triangle Marktbreit-Frickenhausen-Sommerhausen set up their stalls in the shade of the baroque city gate, and live acoustic music accompanied the weekend.
With the season opener in May, the town of Marktbreit kicked off its series of summer »Wein & Sonnenschein« (Wine & Sunshine) weekends, which continued monthly until October. The romantic atmosphere of the baroque old town once again attracted numerous day-trippers from Würzburg and the Maindreieck.
