The Altstadtsommer Kaufbeuren 2025 once again offered two days of city festival with live music on several stages in the historic old town. IndiePopFriday and BrassSaturday defined the genre profile, complemented by street food and a children's program.

The 2025 edition of the Altstadtsommer Kaufbeuren confirmed its firm place in the Allgäu event calendar. Numerous live acts performed across five stages, the street food market offered international specialties, and the children's program attracted families from Kaufbeuren and the Swabian Allgäu.

With the addition of a sixth stage in Ludwigstraße in 2026, the festival management responded to the large crowds of previous years – the festival is constantly growing and is now one of the most visited city festivals in the Allgäu.
