Edition 2025 — Altstadtfest Pfarrkirchen
In 2025, the Altstadtfest once again transformed Pfarrkirchen's Stadtplatz and the surrounding alleys into a festival mile. Under the festival motto »Pfarrkirchen celebrates European & more!«, the event attracted thousands of visitors from Rottal-Inn and beyond.
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: a festival procession on the first day of the festival from Marienplatz, several stages with live music in the town center, international and Bavarian food stalls, bar and beer garden offerings. The festival was organized by the town of Pfarrkirchen in cooperation with local restaurateurs and clubs.
The festival period ranged from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM in the early morning – a focus on the nocturnal festival activities has characterized Pfarrkirchen's Altstadtfeste for decades. The festival motto »European & more!« underscores the town's self-perception as a cosmopolitan location in Lower Bavaria.
