The altonale Art Market 2025 once again gathered visual artists on the Christianswiese in Hamburg-Altona. Two days of white tents, painting, graphics, sculpture, and photography, direct sales between artists and the public – the proven format once again made the market a focal point for art enthusiasts from all over Hamburg.

The 2025 edition of the altonale Art Market took place, as usual, on a weekend in June on the Christianswiese. Around 60 artists from Hamburg, Northern Germany, and internationally presented their works in white open-air tents.

The concept remained unchanged: direct sales, personal conversations between artists and the public, and accessible engagement with visual arts. Integrated into the broad altonale summer festival, the market offered an alternative to the classic gallery model and solidified Altona's reputation as Hamburg's art district.
