Altona-Ottensen Christmas Market 2025
From November 24 to December 23, 2025, the Christmas market ran along the route between Altona Station and Spritzenplatz in Ottensen — over 50 stalls and 4 weeks of Advent magic in Hamburg's west.
As every year, the market focused on its diverse, international character — kale with fried potatoes, Feuerzangenbowle, and white mulled wine combined with vegan currywurst and Polish, Turkish, Asian, and South American specialities. The children's program with carousel, Witch Knickebein (participatory music-making), puppet theatre with a children's stage, and Gnome Hut made the market particularly family-friendly. On December 6th, as always, St. Nicholas paid a visit. Free admission.
