Altmarktfest — The Biannual Tradition
Auerbach celebrates its Altmarktfest every two years. The format of an Après-Ski opening on Friday, a town festival weekend with several music stages, a club mile, and a children's play street has been a fixed repertoire of the WIA Stadtmarketing association "Wir in Auerbach" for years. In 2024, the festival attracted tens of thousands of visitors from the Vogtland and the Ore Mountains foothills to the "Bergstadt" — the next edition is planned for July 31 to August 2, 2026.
