The 2025 edition of the Altenburg Wine Festival continued the tradition of the open-air wine market in the park at Großer Teich. Vintners from several German wine regions, live music on the open-air stage, and a cozy atmosphere by the lake characterized the weekend in early September.

Altenburg 2025 — Relaxed Season Finale

In September 2025, Altenburg once again hosted its Wine Festival in the park at Großer Teich. Vintners from Saale-Unstrut, Pfalz, Mosel, and Baden presented their wines, street food stalls offered regional specialties, and live music accompanied the weekend. The open layout of the stalls by the lake made the festival a successful season finale for the Altenburg cultural summer.
