Overview
In August 2025, Schliersee once again celebrated its traditional Kirchtag. The boat procession across the lake, the festival service in St. Sixtus, the traditional costume procession, and the historic Fischschiaßn brought together costume groups and guests in the spa park by the lake.
The Alt-Schlierseer Kirchtag 2025 continued the decades-long tradition of the traditional costume and folk customs festival at Schliersee. As every year, the boat procession across the lake with brass music, the patronal feast service in the parish church of St. Sixtus, the colorful traditional costume procession through the village, and the historic Fischschiaßn were the fixed program points. As usual, the Kirchtag was organized by the Alt-Schlierseer Trachtengruppe together with the village community.
