The Alt-Rothenburger Reiterlesmarkt 2025 took place from November 21 to December 23 in the historic old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. 61 stalls between the Market Square, Green Market, Church Square, and the Town Hall's courtyard of light, closed on Totensonntag, with the traditional arrival of the Reiterle before the 1st Advent.
From November 21 to December 23, 2025, the Reiterlesmarkt invited visitors for pre-Christmas strolls. On Totensonntag (November 23), the market remained closed. Opening hours were Sunday to Thursday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM and Friday and Saturday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM.
The Christmas magic began with a festive address at 5:00 PM; the Reiterle joined on November 28 during the traditional ceremony before the 1st Advent, starting at 5:00 PM. Between the Market Square, Green Market, Church Square, and the Town Hall's courtyard of light, 61 stalls offered Christmas decorations, gingerbread, Schneeballen, handicrafts, and mulled wine.
