Overview
In the summer of 2025, the association Das sympathische Buckow e.V. prepared the revival of the Alt-Buckower Dorfteichfest. After a multi-year break, the traditional village festival was set to take place again in 2026 on the village green and by the pond. A first small village gathering marked the start of the re-organization of the festival format.
Isolated preparatory actions and a smaller community festival in the summer of 2025 laid the groundwork for the relaunch of the Dorfteichfest in 2026. The old festival culture of southern Berlin – village green, pond, stage – was to be revived with the means of a new, volunteer-run association.
