Overview
The Alt-Buckow Advent Market 2025 took place on the first Advent weekend on the Alt-Buckow village green: Saturday 1 PM–8 PM, Sunday 11 AM–7 PM. Free admission. In the 2025 edition, the market remained true to its concept — small, contemplative stalls around the fieldstone church, mulled wine, handicrafts, and a stage program from the neighborhood.
As in previous years, the market gathered residents from Buckow and the surrounding districts of Rudow, Gropiusstadt, and Britz. The non-commercial format, organized by volunteers, is a special feature in the Berlin Christmas market calendar, which is largely dominated by commercial organizers. The market also sees itself as a contribution to preserving the Buckow village green tradition and the historic village church.
