Overview

The Alpsommer- und Heimatfest 2025 was celebrated from September 11 to 14 in Maierhöfen. Featuring a parade of twelve brass bands, traditional costume groups, a 'Schellenwürfel' competition, and party evenings with the Allgäu band Allgäu Feager.

The 2025 edition began on Thursday, September 11, at 7 PM with the opening and the entry of the twelve brass bands, followed by a festival evening with the brass bands Maierhöfen and Scheidegg. On Friday, the 'Böhmische Alp-Traum' and from 9 PM the band Allgäu Feager provided the entertainment.

Saturday offered a family and senior afternoon, a children's program, brass music, and a Swabian evening with traditional costume groups. The conclusion on Sunday was the grand parade with the traditional 'Schellenwürfel' competition. The festival once again confirmed its status as the highlight of the late summer in the West Allgäu.
