Overview

In late September 2025, around 40 decorated young cattle once again descended from the Stoißer Alm on the Teisenberg mountain into the valley towards Seiberstadt. The traditional Almabtrieb marked the end of the alpine summer and was accompanied musically by a "Ziachduo".

The 2025 edition of the Almabtrieb from the Stoißer Alm followed the established routine: decorating the animals on the alpine pasture in the early afternoon, followed by the procession down into the valley and the musical welcome at the Seiberstadt hiking parking lot.

The Freidling customs association provided refreshments for the guests. As every year, the exact date was weather-dependent. The event offered locals and visitors alike an authentic insight into the Alpine traditions of the Berchtesgadener Land.
