Overview

The 2025 edition of the Albersdorfer Pfingstvolksfest fell on the Pentecost weekend from June 6th to 9th. As every year, the funfair, parade, fireworks on Saturday evening, and ox on a spit on Whit Sunday were the highlights — a tradition that the Volksfestverein Albersdorf e.V. has continued since 1902.

Albersdorf's Kurpark was once again the venue for four days of Volksfest in 2025, featuring live music, showmen, and North German traditions. The programme followed the established schedule: opening on Whit Friday, live concerts and fireworks on Saturday, parade and family afternoon on Whit Sunday, and a dance evening on Whit Monday.

The parade on Whit Sunday proceeded as usual from the station forecourt through Bahnhofstraße to the Kurpark, accompanied by marching bands, clubs, and festively decorated floats from the entire Dithmarscher Geestland.
