Aichach City Festival

The 50th Aichach City Festival was celebrated on the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd, 2025 – a significant anniversary after half a century of uninterrupted festival tradition. To celebrate the occasion, a special exhibition on the history of the city festival was presented.

Special program items recalled the "old times": competitions like Maßkrugstemmen (stein holding), Steinheben (stone lifting), and Fingerhakeln (arm wrestling) transported visitors back to the folk roots of the festival. The family afternoon offered a children's band, dance performances, and magicians. The main stages featured live music from various genres; Aichach clubs and restaurateurs provided catering throughout the city center.
