Ahrenshoop Film Nights — Edition 2025

The 18th edition of the Ahrenshoop Film Nights welcomed filmmakers and cinephiles from November 12 to 15, 2025, at THE GRAND Ahrenshoop on the high shore. Six new German feature films – predominantly debuts and productions by emerging talent – competed against each other; an expert jury awarded the Jury Prize, and the audience chose their own favorite.

The festival opened with a film premiere and live music; the closing gala included the awards ceremony, a buffet, and a live concert. Post-screening discussions facilitated direct exchange between the audience, directors, producers, and actors. In parallel, the festival, in cooperation with Künstlerhaus Lukas, presented a special program with five additional contributions.
