Overview
The 51st Ahrenshoop Art Auction took place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Strandhalle Ahrenshoop. In the preceding period, all lots were exhibited daily from July 1 to August 1, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM at the Strandhalle (Dorfstraße 16 b) and at Kunstkaten Ahrenshoop (Strandweg 1).
Around 100 selected works of painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture were auctioned. The focus was on contributions from the Ahrenshoop Artists' Colony and the neighbouring colonies of Hiddensee, Nidden, Schwaan, and Usedom. Prominent names included Emil Nolde, Lyonel Feininger, and George Grosz; works by Rudolf Bartels, Elisabeth von Eicken, and Louis Douzette were presented from the regional circle.
