The Ludwigsplatz in Ludwigshafen's city center is a traffic-calmed area particularly suitable for open-air events. Located directly at the main train station, it is easily accessible for commuters from the entire region within minutes. Light rail and buses stop in close proximity.

BASF catering as a culinary partner

Culinary services are provided by BASF catering, the largest catering operation in the city. The menu features grilled specialties, fresh salads, vegetarian options, cold drinks, Palatinate wine, and beer. In the summer of 2026, After Work LU will take place on two Thursday evenings: on August 13 and September 10, 2026, each from 5 PM to 10 PM. Both dates are free and accessible without prior registration. The format has developed into a popular meeting point in recent years, enlivening the city center after work and often serving as a prelude to longer evenings out in the region.
