Edition 2025 — African Culture Festival
The premiere of the African Culture Festival Berlin took place on August 9th and 10th, 2025, at Beach Neukölln. The event combined live music, DJ sets, African street food, a beauty and fashion market, art, children's activities, and drumming and hair workshops. It was organized by the Berlin collective KreaTIEF030.
The premiere edition in 2025 attracted a diverse audience from Berlin's African community and festival-goers from across the city. The concept of a two-day beach festival with a focus on African culture proved successful, with the combination of live music, street food, and workshops receiving broad acclaim.
The success of the first edition helped establish the festival as a regular annual event in Berlin's summer calendar for 2026.
