The Adventszeit St. Markus 2025 ran from November 25 to December 21 on St. Markus Church Square in Hoheluft-West. With a sustainable product range, a rich children's program featuring Elsa, Anna, and the Grinch, a wish list day with Santa Claus on December 6th, DJ Thursdays, and joint Advent singing in the church, the market offered a real alternative to the overcrowded city center markets.
The Adventszeit St. Markus 2025 took place from November 25 to December 21. The Christmas market on St. Markus Church Square in Hoheluft-West (Eimsbüttel district) consistently focused on regional, seasonal, and fair-trade products – with abundant vegetarian options.
The family program included a children's carousel, activities with Elsa and Anna, an appearance by the Grinch, cookie workshops, and puppet theater. On December 6th, Santa Claus visited the market for the wish list event. Thursday evenings attracted the after-work crowd with DJ music, and the joint Advent singing in the church drew families from across the district. The "Advent im Schuhkarton" initiative collected gifts for those in need.
