Overview

The Adventszauber Böblingen 2025 ushered in the Advent season in the Böblingen district with five days of Christmas market on the market square. The Rapunzel braid installation at the town hall, the Snow White Train, and the baking tent for children attracted thousands of families from the Stuttgart area. Mulled wine, raclette, tarte flambée, and a dense stage program characterized the market.

Review 2025

The 2025 edition took place from November 26 to 30 and followed the established fairy tale concept: the Snow White themed train, the baking tent, story readers, and the Rapunzel braid at the town hall formed the visual backbone. On stage, kindergartens, school choirs, and local music clubs performed. The Stiftskirche and half-timbered houses provided the picturesque backdrop for the five market days.

At the food stalls, Swiss raclette with mountain cheese, Alsatian tarte flambée, and Swabian Maultaschen were served as usual. Mulled wine and punch flowed abundantly, while candied almonds and chestnuts filled the pre-Christmas air with their scent. The exhibitors — primarily regional craftspeople from the greater Böblingen area — offered Christmas tree ornaments, nativity figures, wool products, and gift items.
