Edition 2025 — Adventsmarkt Grunewald
Adventsmarkt at St.-Michaels-Heim 2025: Saturday 2 PM–8 PM, Sunday 12 PM–6 PM in the English country estate in Grunewald. Arts and crafts, jams, pottery, candle dipping, "Zwergenland" for children, and concerts with traditional Christmas melodies. Free admission, all proceeds for charitable purposes of the Johannisches Sozialwerk.
The 2025 edition took place on the first Advent weekend, November 29 and 30, at the St.-Michaels-Heim in Grunewald. Saturday from 2 PM to 8 PM, Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. As always, admission was free.
The stalls offered arts and crafts, homemade jams and cookies based on old recipes, handmade toys, second-hand clothing, and Bavarian organic farm specialties. Workshops were held for pottery, candle dipping, and woodworking, and the "Zwergenland" entertained the little ones with crafting and play activities. On stage, there were concerts, readings, and Christmas melodies — the nostalgic atmosphere for which the market has been known for over 40 years.
