In 2025, the Adventsmarkt of the St. Johannes Schützenbruderschaft 1653 in the Sälzerhalle Salzkotten also took place on the 1st Advent weekend — a long-standing tradition in the salt-boiling town on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest.

Adventsmarkt 2025 in the Sälzerhalle

The 2025 Adventsmarkt continued the long-standing tradition. The St. Johannes Schützenbruderschaft 1653 e.V. opened the Sälzerhalle on the 1st Advent weekend for stalls, mulled wine, specialties, and the traditional Advent program. The weatherproof indoor nature makes the market a family-friendly alternative to classic outdoor Christmas markets — especially for older visitors and families with young children. The 2025 edition prepared for the Adventsmarkt 2026 on November 28–29.
