Overview
The Adventsmarkt Lobberich 2025 ran as usual on the second Advent weekend on the Alte Markt in front of the town hall of Nettetal-Lobberich. The organizers were the city of Nettetal and the Lobberich clubs. Brass bands and children's choirs from local schools and parishes provided the musical accompaniment for the weekend, while regional artisans offered Advent wreaths, candles, felt products, and small gift items. The club stalls sold potato pancakes with apple sauce, bratwurst, mulled wine, and children's punch to benefit charitable projects in Nettetal. The market remained a classic, Lower Rhine-influenced Advent event in 2025 — manageable, heartfelt, and firmly anchored in the district's culture.
