Edition 2025 — Adventsmarkt im Sand
The Adventsmarkt im Sand 2025 took place from November 28 to 30 – Fri 4–8:30 PM, Sat 11 AM–8:30 PM, Sun 11 AM–6 PM. Around the Elisabethenkirche in Bamberg's Sand district, numerous craft stalls opened, accompanied by blacksmith demonstrations and Advent concerts.
The 2025 edition of the Adventsmarkt im Sand took place on the first Advent weekend – from November 28 to 30. As usual, the Obere Sandstraße around the Elisabethenkirche transformed into an atmospheric Advent promenade.
Around 30 artisans presented their work, the blacksmith demonstrated his craft, and several Advent concerts took place in the Gothic Elisabethenkirche. The interest group intereSAND, as the organizer, once again ensured the quiet, family-friendly character that distinguishes the Adventsmarkt im Sand from Bamberg's main Christmas market.
